The Charles Dickens museum
On the 21st of November, year 3 visited the Charles Dickens museum and saw every room of the big house. Firstly, we went to the ground floor and saw where the kitchen maid slept. We saw a jug of milk. Next, year 3 went upstairs and saw where he wrote Oliver Twist. After that, we saw a giant Christmas tree and a piano. The next room we saw Charles Dickens wife’s bedroom and surprisingly she had a toilet in her room! Finally, we went downstairs and wrote with a quill and ink. It was totally amazing!
Our trip to the Charles Dickens Museum
On Thursday year 3 went on a trip to the Charles Dickens Museum. When we got there we got split into 3 groups. I was in Miss T’s group. First we got showed Charles Dickens room. It looked very nice. (If you ask me I would like to sleep there.) After that we saw the last remaining clothes that he owned. It was for a roil diner party. Next we went to the nursery were his children played. Then we created are own charters. I loved the Charles Dickens Museum so, so much
First I got into my car to get to school I was very excited for the trip I thought. When I got to school I sat in my seat like usual. Straight away the adults handed out the sketch books. After that we went to loo trips. Then we went to the train station to get our train to the museum. When we got there this person who we were with was a bossy boots and ANNOYING. But we still had fun looking at different things around the Charles Dickens house. I got to touch things.
On Thursday we went to the Charles Dickens Museum, it was so big, like a mansion. We went to the room were he stored his clothes, there was also a sword. We also got to see the room where he wrote Oliver Twist. We visited the room were his kids played tea party’s and were they slept and there was a prison bar, this was were Charles Dickens dad was in prison and would visit him. We went to another room and sat on a table and wrote on a piece of paper with a feather pen and ink. We had a look at the laundry room, where they washed their clothes. We walked to the room were they ate there food with there friends and family, it had a bell to call upon the servants. The Museum was lots of fun..The End…
