Garden makeover!

Our brilliant garden group have transformed a tumbledown corner of our garden. Working with our gardener Bernie, they dismantled a neglected structure and then designed and built a delux new insect hotel! Carefully taking down the existing hotel, they cleaned the bricks, found stricks and cones and utilised garden pots and poles and set to work. The photos show the 'before' and 'after' and the work in progress. - as they show, it was quite a transformation!

The garden group have also been collecting seeds from seed-heads and making packets up, ready for spring planting. They have potted up bulbs and strawberry runners and placed on the new shelves. Harvesting sage, they have made up sage smudges, a type of incense (and on sale locally for almost £10!).

Well done to our team of gardeners - we're all set for some new hotel guests and hoping to see signs of spring soon.
