Monday 15 June 2026 Whole School Newsletter 15 06 25 There has been so much to celebrate across the school this week. Last night's Summer Concert was a real highlight and a fantastic opportunity to celebrate the musical talents of our children. It was lovely to see the hall filled with families enjoying such a special evening together.

Friday 22 May 2026 Whole School Newsletter 22 05 26 What fantastic determination and resilience from all our runners last Sunday at Run Kids Run! Thank you so much for your support. The totals are at nearly £6K so far, which will be match funded!

Monday 11 May 2026 Whole School Newsletter 8 May 2026 Reception visited London Zoo to inform their Under the Sea topic - they found the grumpiest fish, counted the penguins and went to visit the tortoises (all of which are turtles, but not all turtles are tortoises!). Back in class they screenprinted beautiful Save the Turtles posters.

Friday 1 May 2026 Whole School Newsletter 1st May 2026 In workshops with scientists from The Francis Crick Institute, all children in Years 1–6 took part in a range of exciting experiments, from taste-testing and exploring the senses to investigating electricity and lasers! As part of their preparation for secondary school, our Year 6 pupils will work with them again later this term, focusing on this transition. For more quizzes, crafts and experiments, The Crick website is a great resource for all our curious young scientists.

Monday 27 April 2026 Whole School Newsletter 24 April 2026 A night to remember in every sense! Fabulous food, clever quiz questions and friendly competition, laughter and connection all in our beautifully decorated hall. A warm and wonderful evening that, once the final total is confirmed, will take us a huge step closer towards a new playground tower, to create countless opportunities for play and adventure for generations of EP children.

Friday 13 March 2026 Whole School Newsletter 13 March 2026 We were excited to welcome engineer, Halil Bedivi, who spoke in assembly about what it's like to be an engineer and how engineers help solve real-world problems. He shared his journey into engineering and talked about the projects he's worked on. One highlight was hearing about his work on the Bepi Colombo spacecraft and its mission to Mercury, launched in 2018 and due to arrive in 2027. A really inspiring talk to spark some great ideas for Junior Engineering Award entries! Another visitor this week was author Judith Eagle, who ran a workshop and book signing all linked to her new book, Blitz Sisters.

Friday 6 March 2026 Whole School Newsletter 6th March 2026 What a wonderful celebration of books and reading! It was joyous to see the children in their costumes and there were some fantastic potato characters too - thank you to families for supporting the day. Seeing so many different costumes reminds us of the multitude of stories there are for children to discover and enjoy.

Friday 23 January 2026 Whole School Newsletter Autumn 2025 Week 3 It was wonderful to see so many parents join us today for Stay and Play to take part in maths games with the children. Maths games are an important part of maths teaching at EP - fantastic for number fluency, risk-taking, building confidence and for practice in a playful, engaging way. We hope you've picked up some fun ideas to take home!
