We had a great trip to the Jewish Museum this week. We learnt a lot about Jewish history, particularly in Germany in the 1930’s. We leant about the Kindertransport and heard a first hand account about it from someone who had been sent out of Germany on one of the trains and her treatment in both Germany and Britain. We also learnt about Shabbat and the religious items that are involved in the religious day and meal.
