What an amazing day Year 4 had at Golders Hill Park today, learning about orienteering and map reading skills! Setting off early from school, we headed to the park where we sat down to plot our route around finding the hidden “controls” set out about the park. All we had was a map, a pencil, a compass and a great sense of adventure. We were so fortunate that it was such a lovely day and the children learned so much about directions, map reading skills and of course… teamwork!
