We had a very informative and fun trip to the London Fire Brigade Museum on Tuesday 9th December.
It was wonderful to see the different fire engines – from hand-drawn pumps to the motorised engines we see on our streets today!
The storyteller took us on a journey into London at the time of the Great Fire – September 1666 – where we rang bells to warn the inhabitants and collected water from the River Thames in an attempt to put out the fire!
