Year 1 travel back in time at the British Museum!

Year 1 were mini-experts on Ancient Egyptian civilisation during our visit to the British Museum today.

They were able to discuss the various artefacts and list the steps in the mummification process.

There was much excitement when we spotted the real Rosetta Stone, saw the huge statue of Ramesses II and Canopic Jars filled with organs!!

We impressed the Museum’s Education officer so much that she gave everyone a Scarab Beetle badge… for GOOD LUCK!!
