In Year 6’s final weeks of school, we teamed up with The Gorilla Organization, who are based in Camden and work incredibly hard to support and protect the few endangered mountain gorillas left in the wild.
Sarah came in to speak to us and we learnt so many fascinating facts about these beautiful creatures – including how they build nests, communicate and socialise with each other.
We felt very strongly that these animals need our help, so we wrote persuasive letters to urge member of the public to adopt a gorilla and support the charity’s work. The letters were so well-written that they are now on display in the window of their head office! Maybe you will spot them as you walk through Camden!? Well done, Year 6!
