We were so lucky that this trip coincided with such glorious weather! Spending the afternoon here was pure delight!
We enjoyed a picnic in the sun, before seeking shade in the Secret Garden. Here we explored three different habitats: the woodland, a pond and a meadow. The aim of this trip was to find micro-habitats within these, where invertebrates could be living. We found lots of life including some centipedes, worms, woodlice, spiders and snails. We even caught a big newt in the pond!
