Year 1 have had a very busy first term… including:

• Learning maths using lots of different equipment!
• Storytelling, creating story maps and sequencing story pictures!
• Lots of visits – including a spontaneous walk up to where Dick Whittington heard the ‘Bells of Bow’ ring out!
• Reading buddies with Year 5!
• Drama workshops with the Unicorn Theatre!
• Becoming History detectives – finding evidence in photos and illustrations!
