Year 1 visited Waterlow Park on Friday morning intent on spreading a healthy duck message in Waterlow Park! During the week, we had been busy creating posters to highlight the debilitating syndrome of ‘Angel Wing’ in ducks. Angel Wing is a deformity in the ducks wings which can be caused by a diet of too much white bread. Our posters caused quite a stir and many members of the public told us they hadn’t heard about Angel Wing before but would now know not to use white bread. What a great community service from all our children!
