Today we had the most fascinating visit from a real life explorer called Angus! He told us all about his adventures in Alaska and the North Pole! It was SO interesting. We heard about his travels through places that were -50 degrees! That’s TWICE as cold as a deep freezer! We found out so many amazing facts about Alaskan Malamutes (dogs like Huskies), the wilderness, frozen chocolate, how to go to the toilet in freezing conditions and we even learnt that Angus gave a funny nickname to his friend’s frozen beard (snotcicles instead of icicles because the hair beneath the nose freezes!) Thank you to Angus Mill for coming in and to Betty’s mum Sarah for organising the visit!
