What a fantastic day we had travelling back through time to the magical ruins of Lullingstone Roman Villa! We ventured out of London to Kent to go and see first-hand the amazing architecture that the Romans left behind in Britain.

At the villa we learned all about the Roman routines of bathing, from using a strigil and jumping into the caldarium (the hot baths) to cooling off in the frigidarium (of course, the cold baths). We also learned about the various Roman gods that the owners of the house would have worshipped and how the archaeologists found the villa in the first place!
