What is your favourite number?!
Maths blogger Alex Bellos recently did this, and after polling more than 44,000 people from around the world on his website, he got an answer: The world’s favorite number is 7!
My favourite number is 48 because it has lots of factors…and it’s the number of my house!
Write below what your favourite number is and why!
My favourite number is 4 because my birthday is on July 4th and my little sister is also 4!

5! It has had special significance in my life a few times, it’s prime, and it has a very interesting look!
𝝅 is my favourite number because it never stops. This number can be used to calculate the area of a circle. Eg: (A=𝝅 r2). If you have not heard about pi before and don’t think it is a number, it equals 3.14159265358979323, etc… Pi came from the 16th letter in the Greek alphabet. It is the most well-known letter after omega. This is the most studied number in mathematics.
Defined as the ratio of the circumference of a circle to its diameter, pi, or in symbol form, π, seems a simple enough concept. But it turns out to be an “irrational number,” meaning its exact value is inherently unknowable.
Fun Fact: We have used computers to calculate pi to more than 22 trillion digits!!!
8 because when I’m 8 I’ll be able to do woodwork!
My fav number is 29, because I find it really satisfying to say so the number. And it’s quick and slick. And I use it for a lot of examples.
Without a doubt my favourite number is 3. One Christmas my son Joe gave me 3 ceramic objects which were… The Three Bears (from the Goldilocks fairy tale)
Joe wrote ‘I’ll leave home one day but I’ll always be your baby bear.’

My favourite number 49 because its the number before 50 and you have a number to wait until you are halfway to 100!
My favourite number depends on what we are allowed to choose from… it would either be 24 or 7 because my birthday is 24th July (7th month)!
So I suppose I add to the people nationwide who have 7 as their favourite number! Looking forward to hearing lots of the other choices.
My favourite number is 8 because it can be made with different numbers like 3 and 5, 4 and 4, 6 and 2, and 7 and 1, they all make 8. My favourite bus is 88.

My favourite number is 9 because if you add each digit in the 9 timetable e.g. 2×9=18 ( 1+8=9) it equals 9. It is also the last single digit number, I am 9 years old and born in the 27th and 2+7=9.
21 because it’s my register number.
28 because it’s my door number.
28 as it’s my door number
My favourite number is 48. It has so many factors and 4+4=8, 4×4÷2=8. These are all equations thar have 4 or 8 in them. One reason it is my favourite number is that because 48 has 2 digits both are numbers that I like the numbers 4 for the simple reason that it is the only number that can be made by 2×2=4 2+2=4(and it is easy to use in maths e.g. adding diving subtraction).now as I have already mentioned 4 add 4 is 8 which is already a good reason but did you know the average life expectancy is 82 years which rounds to 80.
My favourite number is 1️⃣7️⃣ because it’s the date of my birthday 🎂🍩 and also because it has the lucky number 7️⃣ which represents the days of the week including Friday which is one of my favourite days of the week!!! 🔣😘😀
