It was a shimmer of red, yellow and any colour that you could of imagined. The window was outstanding.
It was Sunday. My parents and I were watching cricket. When got home we saw our wonderful window in sight. But not how it usually was. It was shattered on the floor with fragments scattered across the kitchen. Who would of done this?
We heard voices upstairs and we saw our cleaner with a hammer. My dad grabbed her in a headlock and asked her why she had smashed our window. She shook her head. Thats when a voice said,
“Put your hands up really slowly…”
I thought it was just a window, but it wasn’t. In fact it was a portal into everything. Literally everything, I wish I had known that sooner, but now I’m trapped in the middle of confusion. I can see the stone age and the technology age. Before this I had just moved in. The house was lovely with glass chandeliers and six floors. My bedroom was on the 3rd floor. In the night I heard my window creak. I moved over to it and suddenly some hands pulled me in. Now I’m stuck in the heart of Time and Space.
I was looking for a cute and furry pet. As I walked down the street to find a pet shop, I came across very run down looking shop that had a weeping sad dog in the window. On entering it seemed like a wild zoo with sloths, parrots and lots more too.
In the furthest corner there was the smallest, whitest, furriest hamster in the world! I had made a choice, this was the animal of my dreams…I bought it and took it home immediately. I named it Bubbles, gave it a luxury golden cage, we lived happily ever after.
The large french windows in my dining room at home are double glazed, making it quiet in the house. You can’t hear any of the outside traffic and you feel cocooned and safe inside. They measure just over six feet long and three feet wide. They are not especially pretty to look at but they do a good job and let in lots of light from our south-facing garden. The dining room seems quite small when the windows are shut but when we open them the room is transformed and looks and feels massive. These are my favourite windows.
I looked at the window,
And saw people having fun,
I looked at the window,
Seeing families having picnics,
I looked at the window,
Waiting for mum to come back,
I looked at the window,
Trying to have as much as they are,
I looked at window,
Seeing a car come out,
I looked at the window,
Hoping that was my mum,
I looked out the window,
Seeing two long legs coming out,
I looked out the window,
And seeing a lady with a smile on her face,
I looked at the window,
Then saw my mum,
At the window.
It is the day of the heist, me and my crew are suiting up. There is a 5 minute window to get the Jewels. Franklin waits outside with the bikes. Trevor and Michael will sneak into the shop and steal the jewels before the CCTV turns back on. We have the best hacker I told the team, Lester. He will alert us of any incoming cops. It is time we hop on the bikes and head to the shop. We get off the bikes, pull out our gas and throw it into the shop. Our 5 minutes starts from now!
Windows are made out of glass. Glass is an amorphous solid, the most common type of glass is soda-lime glass in which is 75 percent silicon dioxide or SiO2, silicon dioxide is mostly fond in quarts and various living organisms. Also in glass there is sodium oxide, also known as Na2O, sodium carbonate, also known as Na2CO3 and lime, also known as CaO. Glass has many uses one of the most common ones is as building material as windows. Glass is both reflective and refractive of light. Glass can be coloured by adding metallic salts also it is very durable.
I looked out the window and saw the rain
I looked out the window and only saw pain
I looked out the window and the splashing of gutters
I looked out the window and saw mice scutter
I looked out the window the air was cold an wet
I looked out the window and saw an abandoned pet
I looked out the window and the street was silent
I looked out the window but the street felt violent
I looked out what I thought was a window but then I realized it was just the ipad taped to the wall.
Jack came home from school to find his dad had bought a new car!
‘Daaaaad! Where’d you get this?!’ Jack asked, anxiously.
‘I was on my way to the car dealership when a bearded, wrinkly man dressed as a wizard stopped me, and offered us this for only £300! He seemed to think it had a magic window- silly old man!’
Jack nodded and looked at the car.
‘Shall we go for a ride, son?’. Jack had already rushed into the car. As he fastened his seatbelt tightly, Jack looked out of the window and saw what appeared to be a cinema screen. It wasn’t a normal film, but it was showing the World Cup final. Suddenly Jack realised that the final wasn’t until the next Saturday –that old man must have been right!
I was walking in the abandoned forest,
A dense, threatening place,
Death lurking around every corner.
It was more of a jungle than a forest.
I leaned on a pine tree,
Skinning a rabbit,
When I saw it.
It wasn’t much to look at,
But nevertheless,
It was strange I hadn’t noticed it before.
An eerie, long-lost hut,
Creaking dangerously in the merciless wind.
Most people would’ve thought:
Oh, what a nice cottage,
But I thought:
Oh, what a nice new home.
Then I saw the skeleton,
staring through the window at me.
“death will come!” It rasped,
And the house vanished.
After the earthquake our house had collapsed, it all fell down in one big “thump!” Now the windows were smashed, the roof had caved in and half of the house was crippled. It didn’t surprise me, because the news had warned us of freak weather incidents since there was to much pollution in the air. All over the news there had been reports of lightning so dangerous that it had blasted a crater in Miami and tsunamis so strong they had taken half of New York into the sea. Our world has survived a lot but could it survive this?

I would’ve taken the dog in the window,
If I’d known how much it was!!
(that’s probably a miss Stevenson Joke.)
But a fish is a good choice too…
What are you implying about my jokes, young Louis?

Through the window a coastal view
The sea coloured a turquoise blue
In the window there’s time to spare
Relax and have fun or breathe in some air
On the window there’s a biblical scene
Full of red and blue and green
Inside the window there’s love and joy
A little tiny girl with a little tiny toy
Outside the window is nature’s best friend
Hills and valleys and plains and bends
Beyond the window when you are up high
Is space, the stars, the sun and sky
Without the window light can’t shine
And without light who am I?
I looked out the window and saw the rain
I looked out the window and only saw pain
I looked out the window and the splashing of gutters

The Window

I was walking in the abandoned forest,

When I saw it.
It wasn’t much to look at,

Epic, Eugene!
The window was open
The air was fresh
My heart was beating
In my chest
The sky was clearing
The clouds were gone
I could hear singing
Of a beautiful song
The window was open
The air was fresh
My heart was beating
In my chest
The sun was shining
The sky was blue
The trees were swaying
They looked fresh and new
The window was open
The air was fresh
My heart was beating
In my chest
The plants were growing
The birds were crying
My soul was lifting
And I was flying
The window was open… I left.
Stunning Peggles!
