Burning timbers
Boiling fingers.
Glowing metal,
Burning like a kettle.
Everything is red hot!
Flaming tips,
Baking lips.
Raging fire,
Hotter face than lier.
Everything is red hot!
Scorching pin,
Destroying skin.
Fiery sun,
Having Fun.
Everything is hot!
They showed us that poem at school thinking it would keep us away from glowing and hot stuff without an adults permission but I think that it is stupid. Besides, how could a few words effect the life of a 15 year old like me. All the little kids (and my sister) wouldn’t touch a toy that was red, orange or yellow.
There was a big fire. Jake was using a piece of cloth on his face to stop smoke from entering his nose. He was lost in a mansion where someone had been playing with matches and a fire had started. Jake broke the lock on the door and ran. Then he heard a shout. “Help!” someone cried. Jake felt the handle of the door where the shout had came from. It was red hot! Jake took his hand away quickly. He kicked down the door. A boy was there. “Come” then they ran out of the building gasping for breath.
“Get out, get out quickly!!!” shouted the fire brigade. The fire burn the building forcing it to collapse. The red hot flames swooped over the door! Fortunately, it was
still waiting for its next victim. More fire men climbed into the house with full on protection pouring water making sure everything was wet. Neighbours were getting upset over their losses and trying to keep everyone calm. The first sentence was the scariest! More crowds growing to see what all the fuss was and when they laid eyes on it, tears poured down. I hoped it would never happen again.
They said that south San Francisco bank had zero heist risk but it doesn’t. In fact it has the highest after we robbed it. We had four members of the group. A mastermind, an enforcer, a technician and a ghost. A mysterious man called Bain told us about it. We put on some masks and picked up a thermal drill, then walked in. We told people to get on the ground while we rigged up the thermal drill. By the time it was done, the vault door was red hot. We walked in and grabbed the big sacs of money.
As I crack open the egg, slimy albumen and shiny, golden yolk dripped, then flopped onto the buttery surface of the red hot pan. The rich, slightly smokey smell of the fat makes my mouth water. The once-transparent albumen turns a deep milky white. The yellow centre cools gently and starts to harden. Time to flip my egg! It lands with a gentle splat! A bead of fat hits my cheeks and stings it like a pin prick. It leaves a small red mark. I turn down the heat to zero and place my food on a plate. Yum!
Volcanoes are holes or cracks near tectonic plates or where magma has built up under the crust and burst through, which after lots of eruptions have built a mountain. Some volcanoes after a long time stop erupting there are dead volcanoes. Sometimes a submarine volcano throws up an island and most of the islands in the pacific have been thrown up by volcanoes which have died. There is a volcano, which is nick named jack in the box since it made an island, the queen of Tonga claimed it and then it sunk again then popped up then sunk again.
Today we learned about fire safety in school. We learned how to prevent it ,how to stop it and how to get out. It was very interesting learning all the major fire causes in London. We were taught how to check the fire alarm and also the ways to escape a fire. I am at home now still thinking about the lesson, lecturing my mum and brother all about the causes of fire and how to escape it. They now know when the building sets alight, they are prepared for it!! It was so interesting!! I loved it!
There are many thousands of chili types, ranging from mild bell peppers through to fiery tiny chilies such as the hottest chili, as it stands, the Trinidad Moruga Scorpion. The heat of the chili to taste is measured on a scale called Scoville. These are some of the hottest chilies in the world:
The Scotch Bonnet, around 220,000 Scovilles, comes from the Caribbean.
The Ghost Pepper or The Ghost Chili, has 1,000,000 Scovilles, comes from India and it gets its Indian name from the Bhutia tribe that brought it to market. It was also in the Guinness World Records in 2007 as the world’s hottest spice.
For my ninth birthday party I begged my mum and dad to let my see one of the first 4D movies. We had seen the movie and were at my house eating lunch when my dad came in with chilli sauce and Delphine (she was in our class at the time) said
“I bet you that I can eat a spoon full of chilli sauce”
so she got a piece of cucumber and dipped it in the sauce,
“Ahhhhhhhh, someone get some milk my mouth feels like it’s on fire!” she screamed.
Her face looked red hot as it grew pink.
The tip of his sword was red hot, smoke poured from his nostrils he held a ball of fire in one hand and his weapon in his other. His eyes were merciless and unforgiving, deep black slits in the middle. I backed up into the corner of the room shivering of the thought of what might happen to me. The beast roared and swiped his sword. I just had time to duck. He then threw fire balls narrowly missing my head, the thing kept throwing them till I could dodge no more; he hefted his sword above his head and…

‘‘You may start cooking NOW!’’ Tom was already off. He had all the ingredients he needed so he started to make the banana cake. Everyone was against him: all his primary mates, even some of his teachers like Mr C, Miss S and one of his TAs Eve. Jimmy was making marmite pasta. Mr C and Miss S were making salads. But virtually everyone else was making cakes or except for three people. Rachel was making a massive cheese dish, Danny and Joe were making pizza. When they were all finished and the judge went round, he touched them and they were all RED HOT.
I stepped into the room. Instantly I could tell that doing so was a mistake.
“Sit ” my father said slowly.
I sat. The silence seemed to drag for millenia, then he spoke.
” This family needs to come to an agreement” he said deadly calm. My two siblings shrank back in fear.
” There will be no major action without informing me, no bringing cats in from the street not even just for a short while and no buying expensive items! ”
” Now really Charles!” my mum interrupted
” You’re scaring them to death!”
Their temper was red hot.
The house had been burned to the ground,
Its amber still glowing,
Still Red and Alive.
Wreckage and loss was all that remained,
With the exception of broken bodies and bones.
The disaster had occurred the night before in the African factory.
They were all working late,
As usual,
When one of the stitching machines blew up.
Everyone was having a bad day as it was,
You couldn’t blame them as the hot, sticky, horrible atmosphere wrapped itself around them,
Steadily crushing.
Mikes’ stitching machine blew at around 12:34,
And there wasn’t a single survivor.
The wool encouraged the flames to smother the building-
Until it collapsed and died.

Oh Gabriel, I hope you never REALLY play with fire! This made my stomach turn!

Red hot ball of fire in the middle of the earth’s core about to explode.
Red hot chilly, as it gets hotter and hotter as your face gets redder and redder.
Red hot potato thrown back and forth
Red hot sausages sizzling on a fire.
Red hot sun burning your skin as you sun bath on the beach.
Red hot poker stabbing at the brightly glowing coals.
Red hot burners keeping the air balloon up in the sky.
Red hot lipstick on smooth soft lips.
Red hot bloodshot eyes staring like a crazed monster.
Red hot cheeks on the children!
I love all these different images, Esme!

The sun shone in the red hot sky
The heavy rain fell on the red hot earth
And there we walked in the red hot day
We picked up chestnuts in the red hot sun
We walked back in the red hot sweat
And we roasted chestnuts on the red hot fire
We climbed the cliff to the red hot top
We stood on top of the red hot universe
And we dived into the red hot sea
We slept under the red hot moon
We dreamt under the red hot stars
And we live on the red hot world
