As I walked down the something caught the corner of my eye and, when I turned around, I saw that it was a poster, a poster with writing on it, one which wanted me to go into the army. I rushed home to tell my parents about my decision, anything would get me away from this island. As I neared the front of my house, I realized would my parents approve of my idea? Then I had a brilliant plan, what if I just ran away then I wouldn’t have them holding me back from my future, yes, I would do that…
William is in the pub with Stanley. William starts to speak…
So, my friend Derek, remember Derek? So, Derek’s in the Air Force, and he just got a promotion. He’s a squadron leader and he’s got this job coming up and he’s going to Italy.
Everyone in the pub wheels around. William has not noticed.
He told me not to tell anyone so keep quiet, OK? OK.
Somebody leaves the bar.
And I’ve got this other friend, James, you know James don’t you? Anyway, James joined the Navy and guess what? James is going to the same place in Italy!
I was walking home after meeting with some of my fellow soliders. We had been for a drink then had a small celebration about our work, we had had a successful mission in bombing Germany. I was very jolly and slightly drunk. I was reminiscing about my night out when a striking poster caught my eye, it said: “WANTED FOR MURDER” – “his talk caused thousands to die”. Next to that particular poster was a sign saying do not give any army details out. What had I done?! I had noticed a peculiar man listening intently to me, I had been waffling on in my drunken state, but now it hit me! His shirt had the swasticker enblazened on the chest, what had I done…?
I remember thinking that just yesterday there was a blitz on east London hitting an army base, it is thought that someone in the inner circle had leaked the coordinates to the nazis and thousands had died. Could this have been the result of loose lips?!
If you talk too much about the war on the allies you might kill thousands of people. By this I mean there might be German spies listening to your conversation. The German spies then tell the Luftwaffe to destroy that troop so it would be your fault for murder and you would be wanted. So here are some top tips: never ever speak in public about what the allies are doing and were they are going only speak about in your house. Never talk about it in the café because there might be a German spy.
Mama got ready to go out to the café when the doorbell rang. Mama rushed to the door (probably thinking it was Papa). When she opened it, she gave a sigh of sadness, it was the postman (Peter my older brother). Mama said, “Anything on your father,’ there was a moment of silence, then Peter exclaimed, ‘I think there is something,” he handed her an envelope, she swiftly opened it to take a quick glimpse and said, “It’s a report on what he’s doing now, he’s going to the border of France”. Then I noticed him outside carefully listening…
I was desperate To get back to my wife .To tell her everything, but something stop me ,I new deep down that she was a untrustworthy woman . And as Captain said loose lips sink ships . And I do as my Captain Says No matter the cost . As I walk down the dusty path my foot slipped on a rock I turned My head around, to see half a house. One side that just like any other house on the other side , it was like a doll house you could see the Stairs Coming up to a little girls bedroom. I new that little girl, she was my neighbour . I look to the house right next to it ,my house. My wife was out side with her hands out .
“Tell me everything .” She said .
I was wandering about the fine streets of London, when suddenly i see a poster. I don’t know what it is, but what i do know is that it has some writing on it, big writing on. As if it was stating something; like for me to do something. I take it and look at it so carefully that my eyeballs might fall out. It shows Winston Churchill saying ‘Let us go forward together’. I love it when Prime Minister Winston Churchill tell us what to do. He is a true leader, when the air raid sirens just when off.

Liebes Tagebuch,
Dear diary,
After being sent to london from Hitler, I have learnt some valuable information, like in a pub near someplace called Tufnell park a drunken british soldier announced that a armada of little fishing boats are being sent to save thosands of BEF soldiers from a place called Dunkirk on the beaches of France from being killed by our faithful leader. I almost feel bad for him, drunk and saying anything that comes to his mind. Now his whole army will die because of him its like that phrase I saw on a poster “loose lips sink ships.” Goodbye…
I was running home from the local cafe, “Bon Appitit” when i saw a poster saying “loose lips sink ship.” this reminded me of my brother Alex. tears streamed out of my eyes as i thought of the memory of him in his uniform, ma, pa and myself sobbing, sitting on our doorstep, hoping the best for him. I imagined the image of him in his ship, the ship half in the water, damaged by a bomb. Anger and fear rose up in me like a river streaming down a hill. I am coming. I will come to you Alex.
My sister and I were in the local cafe our dad was at war. The next day we were at school talking to our friends about maybe playing together after school. Then the bell rang it was home time, we all rushed out and I remembered about the British planes mum told us about I decided it was okay to tell my friend charlie as i was telling the new post man walked by then he pulled out a paper and pen and jotted some thing 86 down. Two weeks later the newspaper claimed that a British fleet was sunk!
Having arrived a while ago, I was well into my stride, having knocked back at least 3 pints of beer – I had begun to lose count. An attractive young lady leant against the bar, her expensively manicured fingers loosely grasping her glass. She looked at me as I had never been looked at before. A moment later, I had sidled to her side and was gaily chatting about the Nazis, and our wonderful plans to stop them. I only realised on my unsteady walk back to my home that I had made a mistake that could not be erased…
