Over the waves.
Been such a long time since I’ve seen
You
Your mother
Your goldfish
Your brother
It’s been such a long time since we’ve seen one another
I’ve been up in the clouds
You’ve been down in the sea
Oh!
You’ve brought pictures
Let’s have a look
You see now we’re all on the same page in the book
But now we must go
Say our last goodbyes
And be parted for another long amount of time!”
A friend is always an important thing to have. That’s why I was feeling down when we moved.
The cat next door was the only friend I had. And, as you might have guessed, I’m a cat. A cat that no-one seems to care about. So when the cart I was in started to move I got a bit scared. The cart travelled a long way and finally got to a village. They let me out and I ran along the path up to the house. My two-leg pets opened the door. A cat was standing there.

Today was the first day of the Tour De France and it was a sprinters stage, so Mark Cavendish, Peter Sagan, Marcel Cittel and Boom San Hargon would go for it. So the race was meant to start in ten minutes. Then it started they started all the sprinting teams trying to get a break away but they all got back into the peloton at one point. A few seconds later Mark Cavendish heard something through the radio and it said nearly at the finish so get ready and then he saw it the finish he saw people sprinting in front then he went and won with Boom San Hargon slip streaming him and he can second but he did think it was a long time.
These are all measurements of time. But time is deceptive. An hour is a fixed unit of time, yet it can go really quickly and feel like 15 minutes have passed. Or, it goes really slowly and feels like two hours!
Time is relative; 80 years is a long time for a human being. But is no time at all for a planet!
We need to look after our planet today to ensure it’s survival for future millenniums.
Migration are animals travelling a long way for food, mating and escaping the winter
Wildebeest migrate between the Tanzania’s Serengeti plains in the south and the Kenya’s Maasai Mara in the north there are 1,4 million wildebeest in this migration.
Leatherback turtles migrate from Asia to the west coast of North America crossing the Pacific Ocean in search of jellyfish, which is over 10,000 miles.
Grey whales migrate from breeding grounds in Mexico to feeding grounds off Alaska. Some stay in the middle around Canada.
Swallows migrate to Africa from England and back every year. They live here in summer.
‘In a minute!!’
‘But that’s SOOOOO Long!!!’
‘Tough!’
Life sucks.
I’m only five and I’ve already waited YEARS to get TV;
waiting to melt into the colourful screen and worship its epicness…
‘PLEASE MUM!!!!’
‘If you ask again, you won’t get it!’
‘Awwwwwww’
‘Careful..’
‘Please…- you’re so…. MEAN!!!!’
‘Right that’s it. No TV for a week.’
My heart stopped. Blinding pain flashed before my eyes. I don’t remember hitting the floor. I waited for the darkness of death’s blanket to cover me.
‘Come on drama queen! Get up and I’ll let you have it now.’
‘Yesssss!’
‘If you tidy your room.’
On camp it was so fun. So what happened was we had it took seven hours on the train and two hours on the coach it took ages. We finally got there, put up our tents in the rain and then we went to learn the other people’s names. We are staying on the camp for two weeks. A few days later we went on hike we walked for miles it took a long time. When we got there we put up a big tenet. The sun went down. We went in to our tent and told scary stories!
Such a long time how long, I don’t know
Hours and minutes seem like centuries, so slow
I once was young now I’m old
I once was intelligent, clever and bold
I will live long, that thought I struggle to believe
As my wife is long gone and now I grieve
Death’s a common visitor in my life that’s long
And after each visit I become weak, frail and less strong.
My clothes are tattered, I sleep on rags, I had to leave my home and pack my bags.
Thoughts of the past are in my head, I’m up in heaven living with the dead.
Once there was a man called Nasfenzo and legend has it, he was the Time Keeper. He ruled a world where the sun would never quite rise and never quite set. There was also a man called Jeff who had been trying to stop Nasfenzo for at least 18 months. Once Nasfenzo tried to make all the worlds stuck in his timeloop, but that wasn’t in Jeff’s book because when Nasfenzo was conjuring he became vunerable. So Jeff snuck up on him and just as Nasfenzo started conjuring, Jeff smacked him on the back bone. The world was finally freed.
We were on our to the Lake District to visit my Gran, it was a five hour journey. Unfortunately for my family, we had just had a KFC (because there are no half-decent restaurants on the motorway) I had consumed my litre of Coke but had also finished half my brothers Sprite. Rachel on a sugar rush in an enclosed space is not a pretty sight. When we arrive in Ambleside my family had lost the will to live, and the vote in the car was to banish me to North Korea, or as they say in Korea 먼 길!

A long way
Fills page to page
And carries on for another day
A long run
Never won
That just keeps going on
A long life
Full of strife
Keeps on going through the night
A long love
Like a dove
Now gone high-up above
A long fight
Little light
Will you ever take flight
A long fear
Drawing near
Will it ever disappear
A long walk
No talk
Never stopping for a thought
What else can you say that takes up the long way
What is there left to say
But that a long way is a long way.
A long time ago,
cavemen were around,
A long time ago,
the human kind was found.
A long time ago,
humans didn’t exist,
A long time ago,
monkeys hands developed into fists.
A long time ago,
a person was born,
A long time ago,
people used to signal with a horn.
A long time ago,
people didn’t have television,
A long time ago,
people didn’t have a king to make their decisions.
A long time a go
we weren’t here,
A long time a go,
dinosaurs where near.
But a short time ago,
We evolved!
A long way

2 things
1. in my homework diary it says a long way not time so I assumed the diary was correct.
2. The final sentence requires a working knowledge of the korean language in other words it means ‘a long way!
‘
Sorry my speech mark is in the wrong place. 🙁
