Your 100 Word Challenge this week is to write 100 words – no more, no less – based on the prompt:
Twist and Turn
How will you interpret this? Perhaps a poem about a snail’s spiraled shell? A story about a snake escaping?
I can’t wait to read them!
Miss T
I twisted and turned through an alley of rocks. Miles of fossils adorned the walls as I ducked and dived past them. My classmate followed me as I shouted out instructions to stay hidden. We were running away from my teacher who’d turned against us when we drew the wrong kind of fossil! I was still sprinting, but time seemed to stop. My friend was motionless and my teacher was stock still. I came across a small pathway that led out of the cavern, but just as I got out, the rock fell in on itself. They were trapped!

Twist And Turn
I was asleep and in my dream I was falling, falling into a never ending spiral. I twisted and turned in my bed but I finally came to a halt.
In the dream I was analyzing what type of spiral it was. I came to the conclusion that it was a double helix spiral. Some how I knew that it was the pattern of the structure of our DNA.
The next day, I researched it and I found a picture identical to the one in my dream. I was astounded. I really, really love spirals a lot.
It’s a never ending journey that keeps on spinning. It’s a spiral uncoiled with no beginning . It’s one of those things we just don’t know but will we ever finds out while it twists and turns. As it keeps on spinning it keeps on wining from blowing our winds. Every one thinks it’s boring but do you Know the truth behind? They are in the sky messing with the sky messing with the clouds and. They are used as homes for the creatures they hypnotise us taking us into a deep illusion as we try to wake us up
The snail.
Alone.Isolated.There was nothing to do.After the storm my whole family had vanished. So i kept on walking nonstop not knowing where I was going.Twisting and turning through bushes, trees, everything you name it.I kept on going.but, then…I could see vaguely a bird. Two birds actually, circling me and circling like a twisting and turning spiral. Terrified I slowly withdrew my head back into my shell.I could see nothing.I could only hear echoed squawks rebounding off my twisting and turning shell.I slowly closed my eyes. And never to see the world again!
