In Year 5 we focus on three main topics across the year: The Human Body, which is science based, Traders and Raiders: Anglo Saxons and Vikings which is history based and The Amazing Amazon, which is science based.

Tuesday 11 March 2025 Year 5 at the CLC Year 5 spent an inspiring day at the CLC tinkering with Lego Spike. This kit allowed the children to combine their building skills with coding to make programs to power their models. We even got to test our robots in the race arena!
Tuesday 11 March 2025 Year 5 go to Kentish Town Firestation Year 5 had an amazing trip to Kentish Town Fire Station. We found out about fire fighters train, where they eat and even saw the dormitories which they sleep in during night watches. Tilly gave us a demonstration of sliding down the pole and we got to use the hose. We were surprised at how powerful it was!
