Monday 3 March 2025 The Quest for… Volcanoes & Earthquakes – Freshwater Theatre Year 3 were visited by an explorer last week who taught us all about volcanoes and earthquakes – even ones that happen in space and under the water. The children have learnt so much already but we found out more about Mount Vesuvius & Pompeii and why tsunami’s are caused.

Tuesday 28 January 2025 Year 3 at the Natural History Museum We had a great trip to the Natural History Museum to learn all about earthquakes and volcanoes. We even had to save Volcano town by using a seismometer during the Natural Disasters show! It was a great day and Year 3 learnt so much that is really going to help with their geography-led topic this term: Forces of Nature!
