Sports Awards 2025

Both sporting achievement and sporting effort are celebrated at EP. We have some good athletes, but teach children to understand that truly great sportspersonship comes through respect for opponents, fair-play, team spirit, self-discipline, hard work, positivity and winning or losing with good grace.

At the end of each year shields are presented to children in Year 6 who have shown outstanding sporting effort and also sporting excellence. This year we added a new shield, in memory of ex-pupil and wonderful sportsman Kaylen Dennis. This will be awarded annually after Sports Day to the outstanding athlete at this event.
