What a fantastic day we had at the Camden Collective, learning about how Camden has changed in the last 200 hundred years! We learned about the construction of the canals and locks, how steam trains and the development of the railways changed the moving of coal into the city. Lastly, we learned about that life post WW2 changed Camden and how it turned into the fantastic, lively and cosmopolitan area it is today. All of this culminated in a class art project that will hopefully be displayed on the new “Camden Highline.”
