After waiting a whole year Year 3 finally got to go off to The Mill! The sun was out as they set of on their nature hike up Leith Hill

In keeping with their growing topic they spotted plenty of flora and fauna on route – hawthorn, rhododendrons, ferns, cow parsley and of course pine cones. Miss Frood’s team won the pine cone challenge with a record 103! After picnic lunch on Leith Hill with an amazing view across Surrey, they headed back to the wonderful Mill

The centre has a new rope course which we put to good use before dinner and an evening around the campfire.

All slept brilliantly well, unsurprising after the very active day!
