Yesterday, Year 3 went to Hampstead Heath to do an Eco-Art workshop with Miss Yaffe! We collected resources from the ground and created marvelous natural art. There was a tree, a natural disaster scene, and ‘Mount of Doom’, a dragon fly and a circle pattern. The children then created clay shapes and stuck them to the trees for other members of the public to stumble upon in the next few days! We had a fantastic day out and learnt about Andy Goldsworthy who is an Environmental Artists who celebrates nature and promotes positive social change.
