As part of our science topic on ‘light and dark’ Year 1 went off to explore the Science Museum.

Our first stop was the Pattern Pod – where Year 1 experienced water ripples without getting their feet wet! created symmetrical images on touch screens, followed robot trails and watched as night turned to day! The fun and interactive exhibit encouraged us all to recognise and copy patterns — and create entirely new ones of our own!

We then had some time exploring the Space gallery and finally investigating various areas in ‘The Garden’ – the water zone, the building zone and the eyes and ears zone!!

What a busy day full of learning and FUN!!
