Changes
“””””””””””
Over time there have been a lot of changes in humanity. We have gone from apes, to uncivilised cavemen and cavewomen, to brutal killing machines. We have fought among ourselves, and discriminated each other over our genders or our skin. People say that humans have the power to change, but that is not always true. Repeatedly, one leader comes to power and changes something for the better. Then a new leader comes along, and destroys all of their hard work. Now we are repeating that again and again. The first leader is filled with kindness, the second with empty promises.
Changes happen everyday
From the minute you arrive
Till the day you fade
From a puppy to a dog,
From a clear day to misty fog
You just keep changing again and again
Your body is growing, your cells renew,
You’re constantly changing, did you know
Your eyes start off blue?
Everything just keeps changing and you
Can’t press stop
From a sunny day to the first raindrop
From water to an ice – cube,
From your first tricycle, to alone on the tube
You just keep changing again and again,
We are all different, some Christian, Jewish, Muslim, some Zen

After the summer term the Year Six Class of 2017 will be moving on. Every student will be going to their choice of secondary school. Some will still be among familiar faces, unlike others, who will be with new classmates. It is a big step for all and will be extremely hard to part with great friends. Many will stay in touch, yet some will choose to start a new life. It is an end of an era, that is, a great one. We all loved and enjoyed our time in E.P and will never forget the memories formed there.
I had been dreading this day all through the summer, for many reasons. I always say to myself, how am I going to be able to get from one class to another without getting lost? At primary I would just stay in one class all day. I will miss my friends’ lots, and the school but I guess its time for a change, it will have to happen one day anyway.
I got there early, and as soon as the bell rang, my heart pounded like never before. This was it, the start of something new. This was my change.
I woke up that morning with my mum shouting at me. I got up, got dressed, brushed my teeth and hair and went downstairs. Finally, mum had stopped screeching her head off, but instead of being quiet, a flood of tears came rushing by. I comforted her until she told me the news about my younger brother. At that split second, I ran upstairs, I couldn’t show mum how upset I was. My brother had died…. He had actually died…. In a car accident. I had to take this all in, it was such a shock. But I had to except changes. Because that’s life.
When I change school, there will be a lot of changes. For one, I will have to take a long trip to get there and to get back. I am going to a school where no one else from our class has gone before so I will have to make new friends. I will have wear a uniform and have a different teacher for every subject and I will get loads more homework! I will have to get up earlier and I will get back later. But I am so excited and happy to be going there although I will miss E.P loads.
It was a hot summers day and I was lying on a branch like everyday. It didn’t really matter what day it was but this day felt different. I felt… older. I started to have an instinct to crawl, ascending to the tip of the tree’s arm and curve to a kind of comma. Suddenly a strange fluid enveloped me as if I was some kind of food. I wasn’t scared because I didn’t need to be. Time passed and finally I built the strength I needed to break out of the mysterious cage. I stood, but something was different.
Some people say change is, bad but I disagree. Changes happen all the time, whether it’s something big, like moving house, or something really small, like changing your daily routine. Changes can be bad, or they can be good. Some you can control, and some you can’t. Some you might think are bad, but they’re good, and some you think are good but they’re bad. You can never quite know which is which. The trick is to be okay with anything that life throws your way, and always be prepared to change your mind if you are wrong.
I remember the first day of Eleanor palmer , I have a picture I was holding my book bag and wearing an outfit which … well let’s say It was nice but I couldn’t imagine myself ever wearing it unless I was going to a wedding,I had my plaits (of course that’s my signature hair style, but I prefer it down) . I remember Evie was the first person I saw and I have been best friends with her since , and all the rest I met are also the some of the best best friends ever. I remember how Theo and maceo refused to be apart in the nursery playground (and of course I remember them doing the X factor age 4 singing Michael Jackson) . Now we have all grown up and changed but not to much that we aren’t immature ,that would just be insane . Now we are going from th first day of E.P to the first day of secondary school. I will miss everyone (even if you really sometimes got on my nerves) you are the best.
Ugh. She woke me up again. Pressed the button, did her lock and bam I was awake. I was so tired and needed some juice. But no she didn’t give me what I needed, instead, she went onto my private settings and installed the update. She actually did that. No wait, she always does that never says goodbye to her old companion. Never keeps him for just that bit longer. Just makes the massive change. I had become more resistant, better and cooler. This is the way my life goes or should I say, the life for a phone.
