Last Monday Year 1 headed off to the British Museum in search of everything Egyptian!

Over the last term we have been learning all about the daily life of the Ancient Egyptians, the Pharaohs, the Gods and Goddesses, mummification, artefacts and symbols…now it was time to see it in real life!

We saw statues, scarab beetles and jewels! We saw clothes, paintings and boats! We saw toys, chairs and mummies! It was brilliant! We even saw a mummified crocodile!
