Today we visited the RAF Museum and what a fantastic first trip of the year it turned out to be!

We explored the fascinating history of the RAF, learnt lots more about World War Two and discovered some of the science behind flight!

As well seeing some incredible aircraft up close, highlights definitely included our wartime classroom experience. We spent an eventful afternoon at school back in 1939, making gas mask cases, sheltering from an air raid and Sam was even caned for his outrageous behaviour playing on bomb sites!
