Yesterday, Year 6 visited the Jewish Museum in Camden as part of our learning about Judaism and World War Two. It was a fascinating trip with lots of hands-on, engaging activities and discussion. We explored the brilliant collections of the museum, before analysing pictures of Nazi Germany and even handling genuine artefacts from World War Two. We followed the story of a very special spice box which was preserved after the Holocaust by a Jewish lady who was persecuted by the Nazis, discussing the awful discrimination and cruelty that Jewish people experienced.
