This year, Year 5 are going to be working on a very exciting strings project with the Royal Academy of Music. We are going to be composing some music which will eventually be played by an amazing, professional string quartet later this year.

Today, Year 5 welcomed Sheena from the Camden Music Service as well as the very talented string quartet to launch the project. We learnt about string quartets, listened as they played some classic (and more modern!) pieces, conducted the quartet and even created a mini composition! We cannot wait to get stuck into the rest of the project!
