Four groups set off: Foxtrot, Oscar, Romeo and Uniform. The first challenge was to see which was the fastest route and who could arrive at Debden first! Overground? Underground? Who would keep up the walking pace?

Foxtrot just grabbed the win – in at 10:46am, Uniform at 10:47, Oscar at 10:57 and Romeo at 11:05.

Year 4 set up camp and got a fire going early in anticipation of rain! None yet so having a great time exploring the forest, jumping and climbing.

Whilst it was pouring in Tufnell Park, things stayed dry in Epping until after a sausage supper! When the rain eventually came it was heavy and looking to stay, so it was a retreat to tents to chat, play and read.
