On Tuesday, Year 3 went on a journey to the great museums on Exhibition Road. We started out at the Science Museum, at the IMAX cinema, watching an incredible film called ‘The Forces of Nature’ which showed us how earthquakes, volcanoes and tornadoes are formed but also how they can seriously cause damage to places. It was fascinating! And the screen was the size of 66 black cabs apparently!!
After that, it was time to head over to the History Museum. We went up into the Earth galleries where we witnessed how it feels to be in a real earthquake… though it was just a simulator!!
