Year 2 went for a wild day out at Kew Gardens.  We explored the Palm House and Princess of Wales Conservatory and our guide Jane told us lots of fascinating facts about the rainforest and desert plants.  We discovered that the ingredients for foods like chocolate and ice cream come from the rainforest!  Did you know that there is a carnivorous plant that actually eats rodents?!  After lunch we visited the Badger Sett and Log Trail, stopping to find natural treasure on the way!
