Year 2 were visited by Matthew from Magic Lantern Art who shared a range of artwork linked to the topic ‘Explorers’.  We saw several amazing paintings including Turner’s images of ships on stormy seas and Rousseau’s ‘Tiger in a Tropical Storm’.  The children were engaged for over an hour talking about the images and incorporating sounds and movement to represent what they saw.
