Year 1 had a fabulous and mostly dry day at the zoo.  We managed to see most animals, including the tiger cubs and baby sloth (aaaah) but particularly focused on the birds.  We squeezed in two bird of prey shows and loved the feeling of the birds flying over our heads.  We saw penguins swimming, diving and feeding in the biggest penguin pool in the UK.  We found out the deadliest bird at the zoo is… the hummingbird as it fights to them death!  We would definitely recommend a visit!
