Year 1 had a well attended Stay and Play on Friday 3rd February!
We all learnt a new game that involves subitising (to instantaneously recognise the number of objects in a small group without the need to count them), adding and lots of strategy!
There were discussions about the best place to start and if starting first guarantees a win!!
Parents and children were equally competitive!
I hope you’ve enjoyed the game over the weekend as a homework task!
