Year 5 had a great time today at the River Wandle in Morden, investigating rivers.

We measured oxygen levels, depth and speed of the river at different points and asked questions about which invertebrates might be found there. Then we dipped and observed the creatures we found, keeping a tally.

There’s plenty of thinking we will do back in the classroom about our results.
