Today, we enjoyed taking a break from the classroom to enjoy a wonderful, sunny autumnal afternoon. We walked to Hampstead Heath to take part in a ‘Mad about Maps’ workshop. It was so great to get some hands on experience of using maps to navigate our way around the heath.
The children looked at a map of the Secret Garden and located its landmarks. They then had fun hiding some ‘treasure’ and plotting locations on their own map for others to find.
It was a wonderful day out!
