Year 1 had an amazing day at the London Transport Museum in Covent Garden. We took part in a workshop led by Joe Clough, who became London’s first black driver in 1910. We helped him look for clues as he searched for his belongings from vehicles across the ages.

This trip helped bring to life our learning on the human geography of London, its diversity and how the city has changed over time.

We walked through the Covent Garden piazza which was buzzing in preparation for Christmas and even met Santa!
