We had a lovely trip to the Royal Mews. We took the tube to Victoria (with help from our wonderful volunteers) and walked to the Royal Mews behind Buckingham Palace. We got to see the royal carriages and limousines, as well as see a carriage being pulled by horses to pick up the newly appointed Ambassador for Poland. We learnt lots of lovely facts and new vocabulary such as coronation, royal standard, sceptre and orb. We crowned Joshua King Josh and got to act out his coronation. Once we had had a tour we then took full advantage of the weather and had a glorious picnic in Green Park. It was a wonderful trip, thank you to everyone involved, it was a pleasure taking the class who were so engaged and very excited!
