Year 1 was thrilled to welcome the Rainbow Theatre last week.

In class we had been learning the story of Moses so we excited to take this further through an acting workshop!

At first we were all given our parts, and then along with the fantastic actors the whole class told the story of Moses. We started with the enslaved Hebrew people and the Pharaohs concern of a further uprising. He ordered the death of the first born sons of all Hebrew families. A young Mother wanted to save her son so floated him in a basket down the Nile. The princess found this baby boy and raised him as her own, calling him Moses…

It was so much fun exploring this story in more detail and really getting to know characters and how these link in with all our other Egyptians learning.
