Year 2 have been thinking about the problem of plastic in the oceans and potentially what we can do here at EP to reduce how much plastic we use.  We realised we use a lot of plastic bottles for milk and the children wanted to have a debate and a vote to decide if we should have plastic or glass bottles for our milk.  After an intense debate where two teams presented both sides of the argument and questions were taken, we had a vote and the children voted 22 to 6 in favour of glass bottles. Now we are going to write to Miss Frood to persuade her it is a good idea.
