Year 2 and their parents enjoyed a creative session in the Lab on Friday.  The challenge was to create a bridge which would help our group of invertebrates to escape from their wasteland of a home to green luscious pastures on the other side of the river.  Through discussion, great team work and trial and improvement the children (and parents!) created a variety of different designs.  Many incorporated folding and rolling the paper to make it stronger.
