Today, Year 5 and 6 were so lucky to be joined by Chas WISDM for a rap workshop. He taught us to free our minds by writing anything that came into our heads, thinking about who we are and what we like. We weren’t allowed to stop for 5 minutes! We did more warm up exercises before writing our own raps in groups. Then we wrote another one based on the ‘Proud to be…’ theme for this year’s Black History Month.

In the afternoon, the children performed their raps to each other and they were FANTASTIC! Well done to both classes for thoughtful and moving raps!
