As part of our geography-based topic, Human Planet, Year 6 completed a challenging orienteering course on the Heath.

We learnt how to orient ourselves using a map and compass, recapping what is meant by a landmark and finding landmarks that could help us find our way on the Heath.

We then set out in teams to hunt down 8 (well-hidden!) checkpoints. Great team work and map reading.
