The children in Nursery had a great day out at Kentish Town City Farm and managed to keep smiling despite the very wet weather! We saw lots of piglets, goats, cows and sheep and some children were even brave enough to stroke a cockerel! It was a lovely opportunity to explore an unfamiliar outdoor environment and learn about the different animals you can find on a farm.
Our trip really brought some of the traditional tales we have been reading to life – we pretended to be the 3 Little Pigs and best of all, we got to scare away the troll underneath the bridge by trip-trapping loudly across it, just like the 3 Billy Goats Gruff!
A huge thank-you to all our parent helpers who braced the rain and made this trip happen!
