We used three simple resources to make these awesome catapults. We first looked at a video of a watermelon being cut in two by elastic bands, which showed us just how powerful they could be! Then we used this as the starting point to make our own catapults. After trying them out and modifying them we battled each other to see whose could propel a missile (a pom pom!) the furthest and the most accurately.
