It was a beautiful day to enjoy the Royal Botanic Gardens at Kew. We made a quick getaway from school and enjoyed all the sights travelling across London on the Overground train.
Our first stop at Kew was lunch – which was good because we were all ravenous! We had a quick play on the adventure playground – some were so brave trying a little bit of wall climbing!
We then split into two groups to have a look around the gardens – some of us got to see the Cacti and lizard in the Princess of Wales Conservatory. The palm and banana trees in the Palm house. We even walked in the tops of the trees on the treetop walkway!
We also played plant detective, searching for all the different parts of plants with Charlotte our Kew teacher!
