The wait is over!  Year 1 finally discovered what was in the eggs – Ducklings!  We have loved getting to know our newest class members and they have certainly made themselves heard!  We think they might even teach some of the lessons next week!  We have discovered lots of fascinating things about them: they have a special egg tooth which looks more like a horn on top of their bills, their eggs are nearly as big as their bodies when they are first born and what we think of as duck poo (the white stuff) is actually duck wee – just ask Louie!
